W/R The Defender - Alliance Battle Build
This W/R Build is used in Alliance Battles, can work solo to capture bases or as a group. It was called the Defender due to its high survivabilty and ability to work well in defencive situations.
Sever Artery
Gash
Thrill of Victory
Riposte
Shield Stance
Melandru's Resilience {E}
Healing Signet
Storm Chaser
Strength: 8 + 1
Sword: 8 + 1
Wilderness Survival: 9
Tactics: 11 + 4
General Pattern of attack is Sever Artery to Gash inflicting Bleeding and Deep Wound on the opponent, Thrill of Victory should be used when opponent is less than 1/3 health and used as a finishing attack.
Riposte is for defensive purposes and when you are taking alot of damage from Warrior attacks, often good when solo capping Elite Warrior Shrines in Etnarian Keys or the Grenz Frontier, I usually switch Riposte for Protector's Defence in Saltspray Beach due to the lack of melee NPCs and to help out the team a little.
If taking a beating from a Warrior and Shield Stance is down, always use Riposte before Healing Signet. Only use Melandru's Resilience if you have a high amount of conditions or Hexes so that you can get a decent benefit from the regen.
Storm Chaser is used instead of Sprint due to it lasts longer and provides nice energy when hit by some elemental damage from the Elite Elementists or Saltspray Dragon Roost.
Notes and concerns - Not the best on offence when taking out enemys, however, should be used against NPCs, struggles against NPC Elementists due to High Amounts of Lightning Damage but should be able to survive well enough. I haven't included a Ressurection Signet due to I feel there is no need for it, with people being ressed at intervals and without DP it seemed a wasted slot.
Credit - Sir Lexar for creating the build and showing me its uses and primary testing of the build, Mister Mace for testing of the build.
Enjoy
